The MPE-S150 medical power supply series can be operated up to an ambient temperature of +80°C. It achieves a continuous output of 150 watts despite the very small size of only 2x4" and the very low overall height. Through the use of carefully selected components such as Japanese brand-name capacitors of temperature class 105°C as well as an optimised layout, the power supplies achieve a high efficiency of up to 91% and a very low standby consumption of <0.1 Watt. In addition, the series is characterised by very low derating. It is tested according to IT/industrial standard 62368-1 and complies with both medical standard 60601-1 and household appliance standard 60335-1.
